What is the difference between crystal and glass awards?
Crystal is heavier, clearer and more reflective than standard glass, so it suits top honours. Glass costs less and still looks clean, so it suits programs with many recipients. Both take a sharp, frosted laser engraving.
Are acrylic awards a good choice?
Yes, for many programs. Acrylic is light, does not shatter, and can be laser cut to custom shapes, such as your logo outline. It is a good choice for large batches and for awards you need to ship.
What should I write on an award?
Use four parts: the award name, the recipient's name, the reason or achievement, and the organization with the date. Keep it short. Most awards read best with 15 to 25 words plus a logo.
What file formats do you accept for logos?
We accept SVG, AI, EPS and PDF vector files. We can also work with high-resolution PNG files and clean them up into vectors for engraving.
Can you engrave a different name on each award?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet with one row per recipient. We use it to set every award, and you check them all on the proof.
Can you match the awards we gave out last year?
Usually, yes. Send a photo and the size of last year's award. We match the layout and lettering on the same or a similar award.
How long do awards take?
Most award orders are ready in 3 to 5 business days. Large batches and custom artwork can take longer, so send your list early and we confirm the date in your quote.
Do you ship awards?
Yes. We ship across Canada and to the United States, so you can send awards straight to remote teams.
